I'M NATE
The man behind Flannel Photo. I have been building my business for the past two years, but have been a photographer for five. When I'm not behind the camera, I work as a critical care nurse in Birmingham. I love meeting new people and capturing their unique stories.
Photography began as a casual pastime, where I found myself constantly drawn to capturing moments with just my phone, intuitively seeking the perfect composition.
As time passed, my passion for photography grew, fueling a desire to delve deeper into the art form. Encouraged by the beauty I could capture, I decided to take the leap and commit to refining my skills.
Embracing this journey has been transformative, as I now immerse myself in learning the intricacies of photography, honing my craft with dedication and enthusiasm. What once was a mere hobby has blossomed into a fulfilling pursuit, allowing me to express my creativity and share my unique perspective with the world through captivating imagery.
And as far as the name FLANNEL PHOTO, well honestly, I just love flannel shirts. There's nothing quite like the comfort of a campfire, in a soft flannel shirt, surrounded by the laughter and love of my family and friends.
Family Life
In our cozy little family, there's me, my wife, and our adorable 4-month-old daughter. I married my lovely wife back in 2019, and since then, we've been quite the team. She's a worship minister, bringing peace and song into our lives, while I'm a creative arts pastor, finding inspiration in every corner. We love spending time together, whether it's sharing stories, singing songs, or just enjoying each other's company. Our daughter completes our little circle, filling our days with giggles and wonder. Together, we make a happy home filled with love, faith, and laughter.
